that is a awesome work you have.. and i can imagine it would take forever to render it on vray..
as i have tried to do that...
or you could do a shade of grey to black for texturing.. a lot easier and not gonna extortionate your computer..

Yeah, when with proper textures it takes ages, but with these default settings it was quite okay. Hmmm gray to black texturing. Sounds interesting, need to think about it. Thanks for the advice!

i quite like the detail you put into the building. your always doing magnificent work, how long did it take you to design the environment? and are you able to modify it? (not a set solid peice)

THanks for the kind words! How long did it take me? Hmmm. I think I fiddled with it a on and off for a week? Just about. Maybe longer.
And yes it's not solid, it's kinda easily to be modified. all grouped and such.

Personally, i like the Clay Render.

Also i've got to ask did you really make this in Google Sketch? or was this added to the groups?

Me too, first I didn't think of texturing it, but then...it would be kinda nice!
Yes I did all in Sketchup, no other software used (except for the render, which was done in vray).
Thanks!

I would go with a kinda rusty look it makes everything look a little "Steampunk" without actually being so. I can't wait to see how it turns out.

Yeah, rusty seems the most obvious, and I am thinking of doing it like this. But at the momnet I am thinking that a more scifi approch would alos be sweet! Thanks!
